The wingman challenge is a test of skill, communication, and consistency.
The object of the heat is to partner up with another pilot and navigate the course together. Staying close enough so as to not get more than one obstacle ahead of your wingman.
Wingman heats will be run later on in the day to allow pilots time to find a wingman. Pilots with similar flying styles make for good partners.
Wingman races are heads up, running two to four teams at a time. Finishing times are scored based on the last team pilot to cross the finish line. Both pilots must finish the heat on the same lap to score the time.
